Greg Gignac

GIGNAC, Gregory – passed away at Marianhill, surrounded by family and friends on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the age of 80 years.

Greg Gignac of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Gloria Gignac (nee Welk).  Dear father of David Gignac (Ann), London; Dennis Gignac (Jeanne), Brookfield WI; Patricia Marshall (Mike), London; Caron Fitzpatrick (David), Ottawa; and Mark Gignac (Kim), Pembroke.  Grampa to Craig & Haley Gignac; Joey & Tommy Gignac; and Christopher & Alex Fitzpatrick.  Stepfather to Kim Lenser (Tim), Hugh Clarke (Shelley) & Lisa Gignac.  Step-grandfather of Sarah & Noah Lenser; Hannah & Valerie Clarke; Jacob & Emily Gignac; and Meghan, Evan, Paige & Carter; and step-great-grandfather of Sophie & Corey.  Son of the late Eugene & Margory Gignac (nee Graham).  Brother of Jake Gignac (Janet), Lindsay; Gabrielle Gignac, Lindsay; Graham Gignac (Michelle), BC; and predeceased by sister Sandra.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturday after 10:00 a.m.  Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Marianhill Palliative Care Unit or Holy Trinity Anglican Church would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
