Gordon SADLER

SADLER, Gordon Allan (Bell Canada Retiree, Member of the Pembroke Masonic Lodge # 128, and the Ottawa Valley Shrine Club) With his loving wife by his side, Gord (Scotty) Sadler of Pembroke, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 6th, 2011 at the age of 88, after a courageous battle with cancer. Devoted husband of Jean Sadler (nee Hughes) for 63 years. Loving father of Lee (husband Gerry Nixon), and David Sadler (wife Joan Howe). Proud "Gramps" of Matthew Sadler (Jenny Latimer), Greg Sadler (Nat Moore), Andrew Macpherson (Ashley Izsak), and Stephen Macpherson (Lindsay Simmons). Great-grandfather of precious Keagan and Nolan. Sincere thanks to the Community Care Access Centre and Marianhill for their dedication and compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held in Calvin United Church, 276 Church Street, Pembroke on Saturday, January 8th at 2 p.m. Spring interment in the Rideauvale United Cemetery, Kars, Ontario.
