THOM, Gloria Alice- Peacefully at Caressant Care, Cobden on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Gloria Thom (nee Bradley) of Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Harold Thom. Dear mother of Marilyn Plath (Weldon), Pembroke; Donald Thom (Wendy), Renfrew; Valerie Sandever (James), Cobden; Leslie Thom (Valerie), Perretton; Gordon Thom (Leanne), Cobden; Robert Thom (Karen), Barrhaven; Lloyd Thom (Sharon), Greeley; and Darwin Thom (Cheryl), Manotick. Predeceased by daughters Irene Thom and Evelyn Kriegelstein (Andy). Dearly loved grandmother to 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Walter & Lillian Bradley (nee Ratz). Sister of Joy (late Andrew), Christina (late Jack), Grace (Jim), Richard (Gloria), Edward (Eila), Jean (late Lyal) Mary-Lou (Tony), Roy (Bertha), Harvey (Linda), & Jack (Bonnie). Predeceased by sister Fern (late Rev. Leslie) and brothers Gerald (late Audrey), Clayton (late Elsie), & Paul (Late Enid). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. and Friday after 11 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. followed by cremation.
