MacDonald, Glenn William "Bill" (Formerly of Pembroke, Ontario) After a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60. Bill passed away peacefully on Sunday March 3, 2013 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket. Loving husband to Debra (nee Moreau) for 25 years and much loved father to Ashley and Lindsay. Son of the late Glen W. MacDonald (2003). Beloved son to Gladys MacDonald of Pembroke. Dear brother of Katherine (David Christink) of Pembroke, Patricia (Courtney Franklin) of Philadelphia, U.S.A., Sheila (Harold Tabbert) of Killaloe, and Scott MacDonald (Dianne) of Smith Falls. Bill is survived by his parents-in-law Gordon and Gail Moreau of Pembroke. He will be deeply missed by many relatives and friends. At Bill's request cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St., South, Newmarket on Saturday March 9, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. Visitation in Pembroke has been entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, Ontario on Monday March 11, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 257 Pembroke St. W on Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre - Palliative Care Unit.
