GATELEY, Gladys - suddenly and peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in her 95th year. Gladys Gateley (nee Griese) of Pembroke, loving and caring mother of Joan Sterling (husband John), Pembroke. Grandmother of Shelley Sterling and Sean Sterling (Annette Jones). Great-Grandmother of Noah and Henri Sterling. Daughter of the late John and Minnie Griese. Survived by sister Marjorie McIntyre (late Burns) and sister-in-law Beryl Griese. Predeceased by siblings Clarence (late Anna), Gertrude McCabe (late Stuart), Edison (late Shirley) and Gilbert. Gladys will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday, July 22 from 6- 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Ev. United Church, Pembroke on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Zion Ev. United Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Zion Ev.
