Gladys Drouin

DROUIN, Gladys Elizabeth – passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the age of 95 years.

Gladys Drouin (nee Stokes) of Pembroke, loving wife of the late Armand Drouin and by first marriage the late Kenneth Hewitt.  Beloved mother of Jo Anne Hewitt (Kevin Brumm), London, ON; Mary-Lou McNamara (Steven), Pembroke; Cheryl Hewitt (Marc Lefebvre), St. Stephen, NB; and Jennifer Tabbert (Terry), Cobden. Dear Nanny of Brandon & Jesse; Cole & Brett; Sheena, Lee & Matt; and Daryl, Tim & Tom. Great-grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Joseph and Francis Stokes (nee Gibson); daughter Beverley-Ann Hewitt; sister Verna Wheeler; and brother Lawrence Stokes. 

A special thank you to the amazing staff at Miramichi Lodge for their excellent care and kindness to our mom and the entire family over the last year and a half.

Visitation will be held at Wesley Community Church, Pembroke on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 12:00-1:45 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Wesley Community Church would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home.
