RODD, Gertrude Geraldine| Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, April 21, 2007 in her 90th year. Gertrude Rodd (nee Elder) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Francis Lloyd Rodd. Dear mother of Wilfrid Rodd, Vancouver, BC; William Rodd (wife Betsy), Amherst, NS; Sharon Rideough (husband Ernest), Petawawa; and Sherry Grady (husband Phillip), Petawawa. Dearly loved grandmother of Candace Grady (Kevin); Scott Rideough (Emilie); and Lee Rideough. Great-grandmother of Aimee & Jackson Rideough. Sister of Gordon Elder (wife Florence), Coldwater. Predeceased by brother Frederick Elder. Daughter of the late Opie & Hilda Elder (nee Barrett). She will be sadly missed by her close friend Joannie Bessett. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12-1:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 with cremation to follow. A reception will follow the service at Hamilton Hall. Interment of cremated remains in Lyons Cemetery, CFB Gagetown at a later date.
