GAHR, Gertrude - peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, July 4, 2014 in her 94th year. Gertrude Gahr of Pembroke, wife of the late Frederick Gahr. Mother of Anne Taylor (husband Sterling "Skip"), Ottawa. Foster-mother of Kimberley Gendreau (husband Roger), Cambridge. Granny to Kelly Bell (Shawn), Christine Pollex (Daniel) & Michael Taylor (Natasha); and Tania Charanduk & Brendan Gendreau. Great-grandmother to Tyler Macdonald; Matthew, Kaylan & Luke Pollex and Ashley Taylor. Predeceased by great-grandson Christian Macdonald. Memorial visitation will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 11:00 a.m.until time of the service in the church at 1:00 p.m. (In lieu of flowers, donations to Lutheran World Relief or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.)
