CLEVELAND, Gertrude Irene Passed away peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Monday, May 2, 2011 in her 88th year. Gertrude Cleveland (nee Larkin) formerly of Yarmouth NS, wife of the late Lawrence Russell Cleveland. Mother of Robert (Kim) & Ronald Cleveland, both of Pembroke; and grandmother of Amanda Brazeau (Jay), Amy, Melissa, Megan & Alana Cleveland, all of Pembroke. Gertrude was the last surviving member of her family of 4 brothers and 1 sister. Respecting Gertrude's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place, and interment of ashes will be in Brooklyn Cemetery, Yarmouth NS, at a later date. Arrangements by the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, Pembroke.
