BINHAMMER, Gerhard Martin “Gerry” – former owner of Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home (1963 – 2000) & recipient of the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Business Achievement Award – passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in his 94th year. Gerry Binhammer of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Doreen Binhammer (nee Kraychy). Dear brother of Dr. Helmut Binhammer (late Mary), Kingston; Dr. Harold Binhammer (late Doris), Richmond VA; and Rev. Dr. Robert Binhammer (Beverley), Toronto. Son of the late Rev. Herbert and Mariane Binhammer (nee Ratzel), Gerry is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
