NIEMAN, Gerald Carl Peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Gerald Nieman of Pembroke, husband of the late Shirley Nieman (nee Raglin). Dearly loved father of Terry (Angela), Pembroke; Lorraine Lehman (Glenn), Pembroke; Angela Silkie (late Donald), Pembroke; Ricky Nieman (Suzanne), Petawawa; and Jenny Brotton (Dave Chaput), Pembroke. Grandfather of Stefan, Dylan & Teran Nieman; Jessie Silkie; Melissa & Bradley Nieman; and Andrew (Melanie) & Peter Brotton. Great-grandfather of Matthew & Mackenzie Brotton and Tiana Nieman. Alex & Alma Nieman (nee Scheuneman). Brother of Esther Doering (late Alex), Pembroke; and Evelyn Maves (late Donald), Pembroke. Predeceased by sister Florence Doering (late Gilbert). Brother-in-law to Gloria Neville (late Mike), Petawawa; Keith Raglin (Priscilla), Pembroke; Dianne Tracey (Lionel), Pembroke; and Sharon Raglin (Pat), Pembroke. Survived by aunt and godmother Martha Krohn (late Frank). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Woito Station on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
