MAVES, Gerald Carl Peacefully in Marianhill, Pembroke with his entire family by his side on Thursday, March 20th, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Gerald Maves formerly of 709 Bruham Ave., Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Shirley Maves (nee Gould). Dear father of Brenda Dole (husband Danny), Pembroke; Donna Wierzbicki (husband Casey), Pembroke; and Heather Stitchman (partner Clayton McKechnie), Mackey. Cherished grandpa of Barry Dole (fiancé Nicole Gagnon) and Kerrie-Lynne MacRae (husband Todd); Carla Wierzbicki and Andrew Wierzbicki (Malorie Pardy); and David Stitchman (Katherine) and Amber Stitchman. Predeceased by grandson Michael Wierzbicki. Special great-grandpa of Amelia (the "Little One"). Son of the late Edward and Edith Maves (nee Beaudry). Brother of Wilbert Maves (wife late Gwen), Pembroke; Jean Nagora (husband late Ken), Pembroke; and Burton Maves (wife Sandra), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Kenneth Maves and Orval Maves (wife Freda), Pembroke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Service in St. Timothy's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday, March 24th at 2 p.m. Spring interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
