ABDALLAH, George Burton Passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with lung disease on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at the Ottawa Heart Institute, at the age of 78 years. George Abdallah of Pembroke, beloved husband and best friend of Joan Abdallah (nee Palmer). Dear father of Kathryn Foster, Guelph; Sandra Piccolo (Len), Sault Ste. Marie; and Brian Abdallah (Mary), Pembroke. Grandfather of Gillian Foster, Heather Shepherd (James), Ian Foster & Lyndsey Foster; Andrew Thornton & Kristy Chown; and George Abdallah Boland. Great-grandfather of Owen Shepherd. Brother of Nasiem Davidson & Sybil Hamilton. Predeceased by Hassan & Stanley Abdallah; and Inez McCoy. Son of the late Hassan and Inez Abdallah (nee Stanley). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be held in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Ashes in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Pembroke.
