Gary Desjardins

DESJARDINS, Joseph Gary Henry – passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the age of 73 years.

Gary Desjardins of Pembroke, beloved husband of 20 years to Velma Desjardins (nee Kohlsmith). Father of Warren & Kirk Desjardins and Step-Father of Nicole Carley (Todd), Carleton Place & Jason Spinelli (Kim), London.  Cherished Poppa to Gavin & Garret Carley and Cole Spinelli. Survived by siblings Bonita Costello (Dominic), June-Anne Kerr & Donnie Desjardins and predeceased by Gertrude Howard (late Ellard), Raymond, Frank and infant sister Donna Desjardins. Son of the late Albert & Dorella Desjardins (nee Jolicoeur). Brother-in-law of Jim & Faye Kohlsmith; William & Judy Kohlsmith; Larry & Kathy Kohlsmith; Carol & (late Donald) Kohlsmith and special son-in-law of Ivon Kohlsmith. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Gary’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private service and inurnment of his ashes will take place at St. Columba’s Cemetery at a later date.
