HANDKE, Garvin H. Passed away with his family by his side on Sunday, January 14th, 2007 at the age of 68 years. Garvin Handke of Pembroke beloved husband of Erna Handke (nee Rosien). Dearly loved father of Deborah Schilkie (husband Mike) of Burlington. Cherished Papa to Ben & Allyson Schilkie. Brother of Irvin Handke (Adeline), Eganville; Roland Handke (Corina), Pembroke; Emerson Handke (Loretta), Eganville; Joy Herault (Henry), Pembroke; Nelda Clarke (Frank), Waterloo and Judy O'Brien, Sudbury. Predeceased by brother Donald Handke (Lauretta). Son of the late Andrew and Mamie Handke (nee Rose). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 until 4:00 and 7 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, January 17th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. (In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Volunteer Driver's Program would be appreciated).
