Barker, Garry - unexpectedly on Monday, May 12, 2014 at the age of 60 years. Garry Barker of Pembroke, best friend and husband of Brenda Barker (nee Edwards). Adored fishing buddy and father of Nikki Jansen (Ashton), Pembroke. Beloved Papa of an expected grandchild (December). Son of Carolina (nee Markus) and the late Bill Barker. Brother of Dianna Bohnert (the late Jack), Pembroke and Robert Barker, Fort McMurray. Son-in-law of Doris & the late George Edwards, Watford. Brother-in-law to Wayne Edwards (Islay), Watford; Marilyn Hansen (Ray), Strathroy; and Norma Hills (Randy), Alvinston. Garry was a special "Dad" to many friends and extended family. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
