WITT, Freida Jenetta Lillian Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 24, 2008 in her 97th year. Freida Witt (nee Krock) of RR#7 Pembroke, wife of the late Adolph (Addie) Witt. Mother of Joan Lehman (late Donald), Pembroke; Rodney, Pembroke; and Carolyn McLeod, Oshawa. Grandmother of Shane and Joel Lehman, Pembroke; Dawn Soulis (Kosta), Pickering; and Clarke McLeod (Penny), Mississauga. Great-grandmother of Sophia Soulis. Predeceased by brothers Walter, Albert and Bill Krock, and sisters Ella McCaffrey, Alexa Schurerman, Edna Schmidt, Hilda Patterson, and Ester Meseck, as well as her parents William and Hattie Krock (nee Krueger). Survived by sister-in-law Myra Witt, Pembroke, as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Sunday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley, on Monday, July 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
