Frances Poff

POFF, Frances Evelyn - passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Friday, July 10, 2015 in her 89th year. Frances Poff (nee Spence) of Pembroke, wife of the late John Barcley Poff and by first marriage the late Carl Elwood Pettigrew. Mother of Gary Pettigrew (Joan Leslie), Mink Lake and Veronica Hickey (John Hickey), Kelowna, BC. Predeceased by infant daughter Stephanie. Grandmother of Timothy Pettigrew (Alex) & Robert Pettigrew (Marly) both of Toronto; Evan Hickey (Jodi), Kelowna, BC & Erica Eghtesad (Mehran), Bumaby, BC. Great-grandmother of Joshua and Devin. Sister of Elva Jamieson (late Russell) and the late Beverly Raebarn (Andy). Daughter of the late William and Myrtle Spence (nee Peever). Frances will be fondly remembered by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank-you to the staff at Miramichi Lodge for their wonderful care and compassion over the years, where Frances was first a staff member and then a long time resident. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, August 6 from 1-1:45 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. A private interment of ashes will take place at a later time in both Howard Cemetery, Forester's Falls and Stafford United Cemetery, Cobden.
