Frances Kohls

KOHLS, Frances Verroll (nee Bogart) Peacefully passed into God's presence at Miramichi Lodge on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Henry (Bud) Kohls. Dear mother to Paul (Lynn), Steven (Ann), and daughter-in-law, Debra Lloyd. "Nanny" greatly loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, Christian and Theo Lloyd-Kohls, Jamie and Ryan Kohls, Matthew (Nicky), Ruthann and Laura Kohls; and her great grandchildren, Dahlia and Caya Lloyd-Kohls and the latest addition, who she held just weeks ago, Elliott Kohls. Survived by sisters Estelle Boshart (late Henry) and Lillian Grant; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Terry; her parents William & Lillian Bogart (nee Whitmore); her brothers Art Bogart (late Bernice) and Newton Bogart; and sister Isabel Kohls (late Fred). Frances was a lifelong resident of Pembroke and an active member in many ministries of Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle. She was a long time employee of Goldstream Jewelers where she enjoyed meeting and serving people. Frances enjoyed travel abroad and winters in Florida. Appreciation is expressed to both Supples Landing Retirement Home, and in recent weeks Miramichi Lodge, for their exceptional care. Resting at MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, ON on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 11 am, Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle, Hwy. 17 & 41. Internment Pembroke Pentecostal Cemetery.
