Floyd Jackson

JACKSON, Floyd Ernest – passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Friday, January 25, 2019 in his 86th year.

Floyd Jackson of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Marion Jackson (Wagner, nee Radtke); and by first marriage the late Beatrice Jackson (nee Burgess).  Dear father of Randy Jackson (Heather) of Kingston and Rick Jackson (Ann) of Pembroke.  Dear Papa to Nathan & Colin Jackson, Meredith Curran (Robbie); and Kristy & Mallory Jackson; as well as four great-grandchildren.  Floyd will be sadly missed by Marion’s five children, seven grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.  Son of the late Ernest & Florence Jackson (nee Rose) of Cloyne, and brother to Louise Kring (late Ken), Lenora Rosenplot (Richie) & Calvin Jackson.  Predeceased by brothers Harvey & Norval Jackson, but survived by sister-in-law Sue Jackson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 1 to 1:45 p.m.  A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.  Spring Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Hospice Renfrew would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
