SPLINTER, Flossie Laura Peacefully in the Peter D. Clarke Centre, Ottawa on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the age of 84 years. Flossie Splinter (nee Hoffman), formerly of 214 Golf Course Rd., Pembroke, dearly loved wife of the late Kenneth Splinter. Dear mother of Susan Mohns (husband Burt), Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Jarrett and Melody Mohns, Ottawa. Daughter of the late Charles and Annie Hoffman (nee Schizkoske). Sister of Florence Ziebell (husband late Ken), Ottawa; and Wallace Hoffman (wife Edna), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers Norman, Percy , and Garnet Hoffman; and sisters Myrtle Code, Gertrude Selles, Stella Waito and Betty Gardner (husband Lorne), Kitchener. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Locksley (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated).
