STOREY, Florence (Flo) Helena Stinson (nee Shaw) - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Flo on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from Alzheimer’s related complications. A loving wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother she is survived by her husband of 61 years Ralph, as well as her son Edward (Loretta), daughter Colleen Dunning (Rick), four grandchildren: Nick Dunning (Claire), Heather Cressall (James), Charles Storey, Holly Storey and two great-grandchildren: Julie Dunning and Annabelle Cressall. Raised in Napanee, Flo was a military spouse who travelled across Canada and to Europe. Settling in Petawawa, she worked for many years at J. Deacon Taylor Jewelers in Pembroke. She and Ralph enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida, and their house, yard and garden in the summer. Heartfelt thanks are extended to the Doctors and Nurses on the 3rd floor of the Pembroke Regional Hospital and Marianhill Hospice. Visitation will take place at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 1173 Victoria Street, Petawawa on Thursday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations in her name be sent to either the Alzheimer Society of Canada or All Saints Anglican Church.
