WEATHERBIE, Ferna - suddenly at her home on Monday, February 24, 2014 in her 72nd year. Ferna Weatherbie (nee Jones) of Pembroke, wife of Ben Weatherbie and by first marriage the late August Schalo. Mother of Angela Hammel (Jean-Yves), Ottawa and Christine Genvey (Byron), Pembroke. Grandmother of 15 grandchildren. Daughter of the late Arthur & Sarah Jones (nee Hudson). Sister of Lola Newcombe, Ottawa and Iona Booker (Terry), St. Catharines. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Wesley United Church, Pembroke on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in Zion Ev.
