PAYER, Fern Edith Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, September 15, 2008 in her 83rd year. Fern Payer (nee Yourth) of Deep River, wife of the late O.J. (Jack) Payer and by first marriage the late Edward Wegner. Dear mother of Sharon Nieman (husband Glen), Kitchener; Joan Blimkie (husband Kevin), Deep River; and Marilyn Wegner (Ken Cooper), Kingston. Stepmother to Pierre Payer (wife Trudy), Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; Bev Bateman (husband Jim), Marmora; Fred Payer, Guelph; Louise Mottershall (husband Bill), Bradford; David Payer (wife Colleen), Deep River; and Paul Payer (wife Rose), Marmora. Grandmother of Sandra, Vicki, Melissa, Melinda, Mitchell, Dale, Scott, David, Amy, Michael, Elizabeth, Jeremy, and Chris. Great-grandmother of Jesse, Cody, Dylan, Scottie, Bradley, Brandon, Ashley, Ryan, Mitchell, and Cassie. Predeceased by granddaughters Ginger & Melanie. Sister of Nelson Yourth, Golden Lake; Jean Panke (husband Burt), Ottawa; and Harold Yourth (wife Elaine), Golden Lake. Predeceased by brother Neale Yourth and sister Marion Murray. Daughter of the late Daniel & Lydia Yourth (nee Coal). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Wednesday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Faith Lutheran Church on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk River.
