BRODOFSKE, Ferdinand "Fern" R. - peacefully went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke in his 87th year. Fern Brodofske of Pembroke, loving husband for 61 years (June 26, 1954) of Lillian Brodofske (nee Raddatz). Father of Barry Brodofske (Brenda), New Hamburg and Gaylene Klentz (Michael), Pembroke. Grandpa to Travis Brodofske (fiancé Krystin), Brantford & Andrew Brodofske, New Hamburg; and Derek Klentz (Debbie) & Jason Klentz, both of Pembroke. Great-grandfather of Ethan, Lily & Emily; and Alexis & Joshua. Son of the late William and Annie Brodofske (nee Linke). Brother of Edna Gogolin (late Ellard), Christie Brodofske (Adrian), Eva Jessup (late Delbert) and Martin Brodofske. Brother-in-law to Gladys Schizkoske (late Warren), Ruth Page (late Jack), George Raddatz (Sheila), late Roy Raddatz (Marjorie), late Ray Raddatz (Mavis), late Glen Raddatz, Marion Raddatz and late infant Dawson. Fern will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation is at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, June 26 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and at the Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle on Saturday from 9-9:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Pembroke Pentecostal Tabernacle on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Pioneer Cemetery, Osceola.
