RISTO, Evelyn Esther Passed away peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the age of 97 years. Evelyn Risto (nee Petznick) of Pembroke, dearly loved wife of 75 years to Clifford Risto. Dear mother of Shirley Childerhose (husband late Mac), Cornwall; and Arden Pearson (husband Herb), Pembroke. Grandmother to Cathy Childerhose (Ray Houde), Robert Childerhose, Krista Campbell (husband Neil), Karan Beaulieu (husband Ian), Scott Pearson (wife Andrea), 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Daughter of the late Gustave and Elizabeth Petznick (nee Yanke). Predeceased by brothers Rudolph, Charlie, Arnold, Bill, George and Albert Petznick; and sisters Alma Bimm, Irene Schultz, Lydia Witt and Edna Brumm. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, August 20th at 2 p.m. Interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
