HOWISON, Evelyn - (Retired Teacher) Peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the age of 101 years. Evelyn Howison (nee Cotnam), long time resident of Supples Landing, and formerly of Greenwood, beloved wife of the late Calvin Howison. Dearly loved mother of Elaine Hennessy (husband Al), Pembroke. Daughter of the late Robert & Emma Cotnam (nee Thrasher). Predeceased by sister Katie Cotnam, Jean Montgomery, and brothers Arthur, Herbert, Edward, Carl, Earl, Welland, Harve, & Rev. Fred Cotnam. Aunt Evie will be missed by many nieces & nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews. Our heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of Supples Landing for their wonderful care, kindness & love given to Evelyn for many years. A special thank-you to Dr. Baxter for his weekly visits and dedication. Thanks to the nurses in ICU & 3rd Floor Medical at the Pembroke Regional Hospital. Thank-you to Dr. Plaunte, Dr. MgBemena & Dr. Graham for their care & guidance. Special thanks to Paramed workers Judy, Linda, Lisa, Nicole & Wendy. Thank-you to Margie Patterson for her visits & words of comfort. Resting at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Calvin United Cemetery.
