SAAR, Eva Lillian (Iva) - passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, January 6, 2014 in her 97th year. Eva Saar (nee Biederman) of Pembroke, wife of the late Edwin Saar. Dear mother of Aaron Saar (Carol) and Gail Saar (Jack). Predeceased by son James Saar. Loving Nana to her grandchildren Philip Saar (Jodi), Jennifer Snider (Dave), Pamela Snider (Mike) & David Saar (Monique); and Rebekah Coker (Gary), Julie Davidson (Donald) & Alison Trebinskie (John); as well as her great-grandchildren Marshall (Ashley), Samantha, Austin & Travis Saar; David, Eva, Isaac, Benjamin & Joshua Snider; Amber & Faith Saar; Jesse Mair; Jordon, Olivia, Tyson & Victoria Davidson; and Jesse & Jamie Trebinskie. Daughter of the late Fred & Ida Biederman (nee Hoffman). Sister of Carolyn Cowan (late Ralph); and predeceased by Herbie (late Flora), Edward (Nonie, late Mona), Irene Schultz (late Lorne), Connie (late Mildred), Esther Saar (late Alfred), Martha Witt (late Fenny), Cora Bohart (late Fernie), Dave (late Marion), Garry (Louise, late Ella) and Edith Biederman. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Grace Lutheran Church, Locksley on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in the parish cemetery.
