Esther Rossow

ROSSOW, Esther - passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Monday, May 12, 2014 in her 97th year. Esther Rossow (nee Tait) of Pembroke, wife of the late Raymond Rossow (1992). Esther was the only child of the late Robert & Mary Tait. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her children Robert Rossow & Sherry Crone, two grandsons - Robert & Jordan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. With her husband, they established and operated Rossow Lumber for many years. She was active with numerous organizations including: Alexander Club, Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary and St. John's Lutheran Church. For many years, she also cared for her invalid mother. Her love of family, sense of humour and intellect will be long remembered. Esther's family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the Miramichi Lodge staff and particularily those on 2A. The genuine kindness and respect shown to Esther during the five years she resided at 2A - Miramichi Lodge is truly appreciated. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
