Ernest Mielke

MIELKE, Ernest Elmer (June 17 1921-July 3 2013)- passed away peacefully with family by his side at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke in his 93rd year. Ernest Elmer Mielke, of Pembroke, loving husband of Audrey (nee Prange). Dear father of Wayne Mielke, Calgary; Gail Leon (Dan), Cobden; and Kim Bickford (Dan), Pembroke. Cherished grandpa to James and Kelly Bickford and predeceased by granddaughter Kristen Bickford. Son of the late John and Catherine Mielke. Predeceased by siblings Frieda Forrest (late Jack), Esther Liebeck (late Wilfred), Lillian Klatt (late Hubert), Mabel Biesenthal (late Alfred) and Walter Mielke (late Shirley). Survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Sunday, July 7 from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 8.
