LAMKIE, Ernest- Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital with family by his side on Monday, July 20, 2015 in his 79th year. Ernest Lamkie, husband of the late Madeline Lamkie (nee Dupont). Father of Lyle Lamkie (Laura), Ajax; Connie MacCosham (Kevin), Pembroke; and Carol Reilly (Des), Newcastle. Poppa to Kayla, Kaitlyn, John, Jenna, Sean and Liam. Brother of Jean Green (late Des), Velma Cliche (Harold) and Idena Edwards (late Archie). Predeceased by parents George and Ethel Lamkie (nee Severin), and siblings Lyle & Jack Lamkie, Eva Landrie (Karl), Evelyn Koss (late Lornie Koss), Fern Goldberg (late Richie), Betty Prince (late Art), Darlene Raymond (late Joe), and Gwen Smith (Walter). Also Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, July 23 from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in The Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Columbas Cemetery, Pembroke.
