Ernest Hammel of 573 Giroux Street, Pembroke, husband of Kathleen Hammel (nee Eady), and by first marriage the late Lilla Kielman. Dear father of Larry Hammel (Sylvia Paquette), Pembroke. Predeceased by 2 infant sons. Step-father of Jo-Ann Harmer (husband Jonathan), Pembroke. Grandpa-Apple to Hannah and Ella. Son of the late Herman and Ida Hammel (nee Scheuneman). Brother of Elne Hammel (wife late Adelaide), Pembroke. Predeceased by Edmond Hammel (wife late Marie). Survived by nieces and nephews.
