BRESKE REES, Emma Louise Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Emma Breske Rees (nee Handke) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Leslie Rees, and by first marriage the late Wilfred Breske. Dear mother of Ken Breske (Germaine), Orillia; Elizabeth Lovely (Keith), Sudbury; Debbie Breske (George Verge), Sudbury; and Diana Breske, Pembroke. Grandmother of Kim, Shelley & Carrie Breske; Melissa Kennedy (Dave); and Lisa Peterson (Barrie); as well as many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother and 8 sisters; as well as parents Ernest and Louisa Handke (nee Hilderbrandt). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. By request there will be no visitation or service at this time. Cremation has taken place, and a Graveside Memorial Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke in the Spring.
