RALPH, Emily Christine (Member of Br. 517 Royal Canadian Legion, Petawawa and the Pembroke/Petawawa Lions Club) Peacefully in Marianhill, Pembroke on Sunday, July 11, 2010 in her 69th year. Emily Ralph (nee Bennett) of 1145 Victoria Street, Petawawa, dearly loved wife of John Ralph Sr. Dear mother of Joan MacKenzie (husband Allan), Glace Bay, N.S.; June Bell (husband Tom), Thedford, Ont.; Florence Brown, Glace Bay, N.S.; and Christine Scurry (husband Larry), Trenton, Ont.; and step-children George Ralph, Ottawa; and John Ralph Jr., Petawawa. Grandmother to 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Daughter of Agnes (nee Payne) and the late James Bennett, Glace Bay, N.S. Sister of James Bennett (wife Lynn), Glace Bay, N.S. Predeceased by sister Heather Dodge (husband Jack), Trenton. Survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and after 9:30 a.m. Friday. Service in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. Interment in All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa.
