Emery Versel Schruder

SCHRUDER, Emery Versel – passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in his 90^th year.

Emery Schruder of Germanicus, husband of 40 years to Sharon Schruder (nee Zohr).  Father of Tanya Schruder.  Son of the late Robert and the late Lydia Schruder (nee Lemke).  Predeceased by siblings Elby, Orpha Resmer, Ruth Ott, Ellard & Kenneth.  Survived by sister-in-law Erna and many nieces & nephews. 

A special thank you to Miramichi Lodge for their tender loving care, Rev. Paul Douglas for his comforting visits and St. John’s Lutheran Church, Germanicus for their care, compassion & prayers. 

Respecting Emery’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  The family has organized a memorial visitation on Friday, December 15 from 9:30 until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1986 Lake Dore Rd., Golden Lake.  Formal arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Germanicus or directly to the Schruder family would be appreciated.
