PARENT, Emery Gilbert Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, August 2, 2008, in his 68th year. Emery Parent of Pembroke, beloved husband of Gail Parent (nee Severin). Dear father of Michael (Tony), Pembroke; and Lynn (Guy), Kitchener. Grandfather of Christopher, Joanna, Josh, & Todd; and great-grandfather of Robyn. Brother of John (Diane), Petawawa; Huey (Jackie), Scarborough; Anthony (Joanne), Petawawa; Gaetane Rose (late Lloyd), Petawawa; Archie (Debbie), Kitchener; Suzanne Thompson (Mike), Petawawa; and Pierrette Plante (Chris), Brantford. Predeceased by brothers Conrad; and Severine (Marilyn), Beachburg. Son of the late Antoine and Bertha Parent (nee Michaud). Survived by brother-in-law Gary Severin (Arlene), Pembroke; as well as many nieces and nephews. Emery will be missed by his beloved friend Scout. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Monday from 7 to 9:00 p.m., and Tuesday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Funeral service in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Pembroke, on Tuesday, August 5, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Patrick's Anglican Cemetery, Stafford.
