DUCHROW, Elwyn "Duke" (Retired Captain of 32 years with the Pembroke Fire Department) Passed away with his family by his side in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the age of 73 years. Elwyn Duchrow of Pembroke, beloved husband of Flora Duchrow (nee Resmer). "Dad" to Angela (Chris Clouthier); Debbie (Terry Lance); Jeris (Dean Johnston); and Dean Duchrow (Lori) all of Pembroke. Dear brother to Beverly and special brother-in-law to James "Red" Wishart. "Poppy" to Bailey & Connor Clouthier; Riley & Zoe Johnston; and Heidi & Hazel Duchrow. Brother-in-law to Wilmer Resmer; Ethel (Parnell Lance); Darl Laronde; Linda Resmer; Roy Resmer; Grace Condly and Rita Cortolezzis. Survived by many cousins and nieces & nephews. Son of the late Herman & Florence Duchrow (nee Rossow). Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in St. John's Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
