Elwyn Behnke

BEHNKE, Elwyn Gene Herbert – passed away on November 26th, 2019 in his 75th year.

Elwyn Behnke of Pembroke, dear father of Bill Behnke; Blayne Behnke (Cindy); Jean Behnke & Joan Behnke (Tim).  Cherished Papa to Brady Behnke (Bree), Randy Behnke (Kaitha) & Katie Behnke (Mitch); Emily Behnke (Jared), Anya Behnke, Colin Lariviere, Warren Behnke & Bryson Behnke; Alana McDonald (Brian) & Joe McDonald (Marie) as well as great-grandchildren Boe, Lyle, Ella, Summer & Walker Behnke.  Predeceased by parents Wallace & Ella Behnke (nee Schwanz) and by brother Larry Behnke.  Elwyn will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Respecting Elwyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 605 Black Bay Rd., Petawawa on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.  Spring interment of ashes in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Petawawa would be appreciated.
