COFFEY, Elvin James "Sam" (Retired from Arnprior & Pembroke Canada Post) Peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the age of 67 years. Sam Coffey of Renfrew, formerly of Arnprior, dearly loved husband of Diana Coffey (nee Murphy). Dear father of Penny-Lynn McIntosh-Coffey (husband Stewart), Chelsea, QC. Predeceased by son Richard Coffey. Bobby to Nilan and Robyn. Son of the late Allan and Muriel Coffey (nee Guest). Brother of Joyce Nelson (late Gary), Pembroke. Brother-in-law to Opal Rosamond (Jack), Victoria, BC; Wanda Nameth, California; James Murphy (Judy), Pembroke; Judy Gauthier (Tom), Pembroke; Rhea Hache, Oshawa; Barbara Colborne, Pembroke; Pearl Hoffman (Ron), Pembroke. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Garry Murphy (Katherine), Carleton Place, Kenneth, Joseph Pappin and by sisters-in-law Lorraine Luhrs and Pam Confiant. Respecting Sam's wishes, his body has been donated to medical research. A Memorial Service will held at Grace-St. Andrew's United Church, 269 John St. N, Arnprior, on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes in Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke at a later date.
