EICHSTAEDT, Elsie A. Passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge on Friday, July 24, 2009 in her 99th year. Elsie Eichstaedt (nee Gibson), formerly of Black Bay, Petawawa wife of the late Edgar Eichstaedt. Mother of Brian Eichstaedt (wife Heather - nee Metcalfe), Black Bay. Grandmother of Ian (Melanie); Jane (Jay); and Taylor. Great-grandmother of Lucas Eichstaedt & Jadyn Lake. Sister of Erma Gibson, Cobden. Predeceased by parents Robert & Catherine Gibson (nee Foss); and siblings Arnold, Harold, Albert, Olive, Carmen, and Jack. Survived by sisters-in-law Helen Radtke & Madge Mielke; and brother-in-law Boicy Eichstaedt. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. The family will receive relatives & friends at St. John's Lutheran Church, Black Bay on Monday from 10-11:00 a.m. Funeral Service in St. John's Lutheran Church Monday at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in Luther Hall.
