WAITO, Elmer Walter (Retired from Atomic Energy of Canada 32 years) Passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 21, 2010 in his 85th year. Elmer Waito of Pembroke, beloved husband of Alexa Waito (nee Krueger). Dear father of Patricia Burger (husband Jim), Pembroke and Cyril Waito (wife Shelley), Golden Lake. Grandfather to Martin (Shelly), Karl and Sarah (Stefan). Son of the late William and Matilda Waito (nee Behnke). Predeceased by brothers Leonard, Bernhard, & Arthur and sisters Edith Waito and Agnes Waddell. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Service in Christ Lutheran Church on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in Christ Lutheran Cemetery.
