Elmer William Emile Schauer

Passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at the age of 95 years at Riverview Heights.

Elmer Schauer of Pembroke, husband of Lois Schauer (nee Griffiths) and by first marriage the late Darleen Schauer (nee Roesler). Father of Mark (Patricia) and Bruce (Sharon). Grandfather of Colin and the late Brandon; Timothy (Whitney) and Bradley. Son of the late William and Augusta Schauer (nee Zieman). Brother of Noreen Verch (late Ernie) and the late Irma Hughes (late Les).

Fondly remembered by Lois' children Yvonne (Barry), Kim, Sue (Michael) and her grandchildren Teressa (Chris), Worthy (Matt) and Scott (Laurelyn); Matthew (Melissa) and Marcie; and Jon.

A special thank you to the PSWs and nurses of Riverview Heights and Bayshore for their care and compassion given to Elmer and his family through this difficult time.

 A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Evangelical United Church, 368 Miller St., Pembroke on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00am. Fellowship to follow interment at Zion Evangelical United Church. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Zion Evangelical United Church and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
