ROUNDELL, Elma Irene Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Elma Roundell (nee Barrett) of 1133 Boundary Rd., Pembroke dearly loved wife of the late Rev. John (Jack) Roundell. Dear mother of Jack Roundell (Joanne), Cardinal; Patricia Burgess (Woody), Pembroke; and Mark Roundell (Debbie), Ottawa. Grandma to Jennifer, Jane (Sylvain), James, & Jeffrey (Sarah); Christopher (Trish), Trever, Alicia (Tyson), & Paul (Amy); and Jenna (John), & Joshua. "G.G." to Catherine, Henry & Charlotte; Camille & Sophie; Reece, Riley, Rogan; Hailey; Kadin & Carter. Daughter of the late Robert & Bertha Barrett (nee Bell). Sister of Robert Barrett (late Ann), British Columbia; and Lillian Gallant (late Art), Huntsville. Predeceased by brother Harold Barrett (wife Win), Toronto. Elma's family wishes to thank Dr. Baxter and 2nd Floor Staff of the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their compassion and for allowing her to keep her dignity to the end, and Rev. Will Patterson for his spiritual guidance.
