Ella Marie Hicks

HICKS, Ella Marie – passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the age of 88 years.

Ella Hicks (nee Bowser) of Pembroke, much loved mom to Debbie Good (Cleave), New Brunswick; Sandra Quenneville (Murray), Pembroke; Joseph Hicks (Hazel), New Brunswick; and Sylvia Hicks (Michael), Petawawa. Dearly loved grandmother to George, Jed, Toni, David, Corry, Joseph Jr., Alexander and Victoria. Great-grandmother to Samuel, Omijay, Whitney, Ethan, Luxton, Rielley, Cannon and Kimberley. Predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Hicks and James Farnel and by her parents Hugh and Elizbeth Bowser (nee Dixon), and by her sister Margaret Reid. Special friend to Millard Smith and to her furry companion Sammy.

Respecting Ella’s wishes, a Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Wesley United Cemetery on Boundary Rd., Pembroke. In memory of Ella, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
