GIBBONS, Elizabeth “Betty” Nellie - with her family by her side at Miramichi Lodge, on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 in her 91st year. 

Betty Gibbons (nee Newton) of Pembroke, loving wife of the late James Gibbons. Cherished mother of the late William Edward Gibbons (Rosemary), Toronto; Lesley Gibbons (late John Fox), Petawawa and Yvonne Suzanne Lux (Eric and the late Todd Lynch), Pembroke. Nanny of Andrea (Mark), Kelly (JJ) & William (Nathalie) Gibbons, all of Toronto, Chental Kuehl, Shelley-Anne Godin (Andre) & Teresa Chaput and Jeffery Lynch (Nicole) all of Petawawa. Great-Grandma to Charlie, Lucas  & J.J. Junior; Samantha & Summer; Connor & Kloe; Braden; Grayson; Avery, Isabelle & Hudson. Daughter of the late Joseph & Alice Newton (nee Brown). Dear sister of the late William “Willie” (Eileen), Edith (Bill), Ailene (Mick), Irene (Leonard), Charles, Raymond, Dennis (Doreen) and survived by Dorothy (late Frank) all of England. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Respecting Betty’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be interred at a later date beside her late husband in the Garden of Remembrance in Crewe Cheshire, England.
