BEAL, Elizabeth RUTH Suddenly in hospital, Pembroke on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Ruth Beal (nee Todd) of 553 Champlain Street, Pembroke, dearly loved wife of Edward "Ted" Beal and by first marriage the late Don Nevin. Dear mother of Nancy Beal, Hearst; and Brenda VanArkel (husband Gerard), Richmond Hill. Grandma to Peter and Eric. Daughter of the late James and Jean Todd (nee Sharp). Sister of Isabelle Williams (husband Gordon), Ottawa; and Murray Todd (wife Johanna), Griffin, Georgia. Predeceased by sister Margaret Britt (husband late Ken). Survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Calvin United Church on Friday, July 17 at 11 a.m. Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.
