FLEURY, Eleanor - Passed away peacefully at Country Haven, Beachburg on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the age of 100 years. Eleanor Fleury (nee Chassie), wife of the late Thomas James Fleury. Mother of Stan Fleury (Iris); Terry Fleury (Linda); Martha Chambers (James); Sue Gauthier (Denis). Grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her parents William and Helena Chassie (nee Perry); daughter Marilyn Esilman (Ross); brothers Edmond, Merly, Edward, William, Earl Chassie and twin sister Lillian Chassie and one granddaughter. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, August 12, from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columbkille Cathedral on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy donations to March of Dimes would be appreciated).
