Thom, Eldon Leo (Ed) Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Vi Thom (nee Markus). Dear father of Diane Wilson, Pembroke; Garry (wife Margo), Kanata; Wendy Ingram (husband Dave), Carleton Place; and Kathy Vizena (husband Gary), Carp. Grandpa to Christine and Tiffany; Lindsay and Jennifer; Bradley, Shawn and Justin; Nicholas and Travis; and 5 great-grandchildren. Son of the late John and Frieda Thom (nee Yahn). Survived by sisters Doris Biesenthal and Shirley Nolan and sister-in-law Ruth Thom. Predeceased by brothers Roy Thom, Harold Thom (the late Gloria) and Earl Yahn (the late Iris). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
