Passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 89.

Loving wife of the late Burt Elliott.  Dear mother of Robert Elliott (Sonia), Anne Scott (the late Bob), Elizabeth Robinson (Scott), Judy Farrell (the late Larry) and Janice Thrasher (Phillip).  Cherished "Nanny" to Richard, Amy, Angie, Lauren, Cale, Jamie, Kimberly, Matthew and Andrew.  Special "Great Nanny" of 13 great-grandchildren.  Daughter of the late Harold and Sybil Matthews.  Survived by precious sister Phyllis Gould (late Arthur).  Sister-in-law of Irwin Elliott (late Rita), late Cecil Elliott (late Lettie), late Marna Brumm (late Verner) and many special nieces and nephews.

Mom always had such a great sense of humour and a fabulous outlook on life. She was very active and loved the outdoors.   In the past number of years her declining health had prevented her from doing all the activities she had enjoyed so much.  Mom was a pillar of strength to all of our family and an exceptional example of humility, kindness and absolute enduring love. Mom will be ever so sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. She is dancing with Dad once again.
