NEUMAN, Edwin (Former: Postmaster, Reeve of Brudenell, and Owner of Neuman's General Store) Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in his 84th year. Edwin Neuman of Pembroke, formerly of Quadeville, husband of Evelyn Neuman (nee Grosskleg) and by first marriage Erna Neuman (Runtz). Father of John Neuman (Teresa), Port Hope and the late Joan Quade (Glen), Quadeville. Stepfather of David Schalin (Carlyn), North Vancouver; Ellen Price (Mike), Pembroke; and Betty O'Dacre (Jan Russell), Flushing, Michigan. Grandfather of Rachel, Brandon, Katelin, Tim, Micheal, Ashley, Steven, and Keenan. Great-Grandfather of Jude. Predeceased by brother Reuben and sister Iva Neumann (late Ken). Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Quadeville Pentecostal Cemetery Monday at 3:00 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy donations to Calvary Baptist Church, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Miramichi Lodge would be appreciated.)
